Single Pump Controllers

Building on the success of the FPC-150 Series Single Pump Controller, the new FPC-150-Advanced version, further enhances the “One controller does it all” concept, while at the same time, makes “simplicity of operation” even more user friendly. Although many unique features of the controller are common to all pumping applications, a number of “system specific” optional features, can be enabled or disabled at the flick of a dip switch.

Operating

This controller can perform control functions for most Single Pump pumping applications. It is more than likely that the control parameters have already been set up for your particular application however; hereunder you will find details of the set up and configuration options.

There are six DIP switches located on the lower side of the control module (diagram), which allows for selecting “mode” and “feature” options, as per the following table:

6 Off High Level alarm automatically resets upon open circuit of high level input. High level alarm has 15 minutes delay
On High level alarm can only be reset manually. High level alarm has 5 minute delay

FPC-12650 & FPC-12651

The MATelec Liquid Level Alarms are designed to provide warning indication when storage (Effluent, Grey Water or Rain Water etc) tank is either empty or full. Warning indication is determined by a float switch. Warnings are; Audio (buzzer), Visual (LED Pilot Light and/or Strobe). The Buzzer can be muted via a mute button. If not muted the Audible buzzer will automatically silence after 5 minutes. If a continuously sounding audible alarm is required, this can be done by changing the Jumper position on the circuit board (See FIGURE 1). The visual alarms will continue to remain on, until the alarm condition is eradicated. A standard feature of the Level Alarm is a ‘Voltage Free’ (5Amp rated) output for connection to auxiliary devices. Controller can be installed up to 50m from the tank being monitored. Float Switch cabling is ‘safe’, low voltage circuitry.

Liquid Level-Alarms

Undersink & Sullage

In instances where undersink /sullage chamber pump systems are installed, there is often a requirement for a High Level Alarm to provide audible and visual indication. MATelec has further developed this Alarm Panel to provide additional features such as Dishwasher Interlock and Water Supply Interlock.

In the event of High Level the Dishwasher Interlock System immediately isolates power to the Dishwasher, insuring that no further ‘inflow’ to the chamber occurs. Similarly, in the event of a High Level the Valve Interlock System isolates water flow to the sink by way of pulsing a solenoid valve closed, ensuring no further black water is discharged from the sink into the chamber. Another feature of this system is that, in the event of a power failure (the pump not being able to pump), the valve is automatically pulsed closed.

The systems are supplied in ‘Kit Form’ complete with Level Switch, Valve and GPO (for Dishwasher) and no High Voltage connections are required. Common to all systems is the Visual and Audible (which can be muted) alarms.
